Celebrate the wonder of Christmas with the people of City Point at our annual Christmas candlelight services. This year we are offering 4 different times for you to attend a service. These one-hour services will include a wondrous telling of the Christmas story and leave you filled with gratitude and thanksgiving for Christ’s love for us. Join us for a service or come for all of them. Service times are:
December 23rd – 3:30PM and 5:00PM
December 24th – 3:30PM and 5:00PM
Each year during the holiday season we like to bless our Point Team volunteers with a week off to enjoy their family. On Sunday, December 30th we will not have services at City Point. Enjoy the day with your family and we’ll see you on Sunday, January 6th as we kick-off 2019 with prayer and fasting.
City Point is turning SIX years old and we want to celebrate with you! Join the party on Sunday, January 13th as we look back over the last 6 years and thank God for all he’s done in the life of our church community. Our City Kids and Preschool will be joining in on the fun with activities, games and prizes in all of our classes as well. So bring the family for a day of celebration!

We are excited to announce an important update to giving at City Point! As you know, your generosity and financial partnership with us is how we are able to help expand the Kingdom. We value our church family and want to make sure everyone at City Point is aware of this exciting new giving platform, which allows for simple giving through a variety of ways, including mobile and online. You can try it out before Sunday, and even set up an account, if you’d like!
To start, you can:
1. Visit our website at citypointchurch.com/give
2. Text CITYPOINT to 77977
3. Download our City Point Church App here: citypointchurch.com/app-download/
*This applies to ALL online giving, not just those who have recurring giving setup. Our current giving through Fellowship One and Kindred will no longer work so please save the new text number in your phone or setup a new account with PushPay for online giving.
It’s Christmastime! Fa la la la. It’s Christmastime! Fa la la la. Yassss! The decorations are up and jingles bells are coming out. Christmas is finally here in City Kids Nursery and Preschool!!
We have a wonderful three-weeks planned for all of the kiddos as we frolic and play our way through the Christmas story. We’ll start with the Good News the Angel brought to Mary and end with the Wise Mens’ visit to little Jesus. And what better way to wrap up our season of yuletide merriment than with a birthday party for Jesus on December 16th!!!
Remember, there are no morning classes on Sunday, December 23rd. We invite you and your whole family to join us for one of our Christmas Eve or Eve Eve services.
Celebrate Christmas at City Point this December. We can’t wait to see you there!
Our 5th and 6th graders in Club 56, which meets during the 2nd service on Sundays, are also enjoying the holiday festivities. On Dec 16th they will have their yearly Christmas Party. They should expect to have a great time and should invite their friends. During the month of December, Club 56 is doing a study by the “City on the Hill” production company called the Christmas Experience.
City Kids is a great place to connect with other believers and make a great impact. Come check us out. We’d love to meet you.
Uprise Youth is the student ministry of City Point led by Andrew & Liz Brenden. We meet every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm at the church. Students in 7th-12th grade have an opportunity to make new friends, build a deeper relationship with Christ, and experience God in a real way! Bring some friends from school and come have a great time!

THIS MONTH IN UPRISE:
Your history doesn’t determine your destiny. God can do something new in your life, and He wants you to have a seat at the King’s table. This December in Uprise, we want to remind the students that “the table” evokes a sense of gathering together as a family. No family is greater than God’s family, and we are all welcomed with open arms to be a part of it. No matter who we are or what we’ve done, we only need to accept the invitation and take our seat at the table.
December 2nd – FIRST SUNDAY
What would a modern-day disciple of Jesus look like? How would they act, live, and interact with others? Every FIRST SUNDAY we’ll look at the concept of going all in and talk about what it really means to be a disciple. You won’t want to miss this class—it may just change the way you live your life. Join us for a breakfast & discussion every first Sunday during 1st service in the Club56 classroom.
December 19th- Uprise Christmas Party
Join us Wednesday, December 19th for our annual Tacky Sweater Party. We’ll have all kinds of sweet treats and some hilarious holiday games! Invite some friends & come celebrate Christmas with us at Uprise!
December 26th- No Service
We will not meet for our regular service on Wednesday, December 26th. We hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year! Enjoy time with your loved ones and we will see you back on Wednesday, January 2nd.
