December Series

Christmas should be a time of peace and joy. However, statistics show us that for many it is a time of increased stress. The root of much of the stress is seeing family members and relationships that bring back painful memories. Before you make your lists, decorate your house and attend Christmas parties allow the cleansing power of forgiveness to make this year one of peace. It’s going to be a great series so bring a friend! Also, mark your calendar… On December 28th we will only have ONE SERVICE at 11:00am. The kids will have a special Pajama Party that day so no need to dress up – come and have some fun!

Preschool Corner

It’s red. It’s white. And it’s striped all over. You may have guessed a candy cane, but do you know the truth behind it? The kiddos will be coming home telling you all about this and the exciting story of our Savior’s birth. The Legend of the Candy Cane. The Birth of Jesus. This month in City Kids Preschool.

Parents of 4’s and 5’s Our 1st Annual Christmas Program will be December 21st during both services! Make sure your super-singers wear red & green or their favorite Christmas outfits on that Sunday. It’s gonna be a jinglicious good time!

Ever thought of helping in Preschool? The move to our new building will allow our preschool and nursery to grow too. In fact, we are adding a class just for toddlers. So now is the best time ever to get involved! Hearing children sing, “Jesus is my best friend” while coloring pictures, you can’t help but feel grateful to serve these little ones.

City Kids

City Kids will be taking a look at The Gifts of the Season. They will learn about the greatest gift God ever gave – His son. They will also learn how they can live a generous life. Also, mark your calendar for Sunday, December 21st – all of the kids will be singing carols during both services. Come dressed in red or green or your Christmas best.

The Big Move

We have been praying about a new location since our lease ends this December. We found a new building literally seconds away from our current location. It has twice the square footage and room for us to grow. We will keep you posted about our progress on the renovations. Our new address will be 15 Prestige Circle – almost next door. Please continue to pray since we still need to finalize the details with the city of Allen. Thank you for your generosity that makes this possible.

Uprise Youth

Last month we discovered what it means to be a servant. Join us this month as we see how God has called us to be givers and how he is the ultimate example for us.
