We love offering little nuggets of advice, support, or sympathy. They come in handy when we want people to feel better. But what if the guidance you’re giving or receiving just isn’t true? What if, God Never Said That? This four-week series tackles common myths about God, like “God wants you happy” or “God never gives you more than you can handle,” and how those myths keep us from having a deeper relationship with Him.

“Don’t make me sing” ….not words you would have heard out of King David’s mouth. He loved to sing and praise God with all his might. This month in our Babies, Toddlers and 2’s/3’s classes, your little ones are going to learn how David praised God. Songs, instruments and fun activities will be provided to help the children get their praise on too.
“Miwacles. Miwacles ah wut bwing us togethah today.” (Said like the priest in The Princess Bride). The month of May will be known as, “Jesus’ Miracle Month” in our 4’s-Kinder class. They will learn about some of the awesome miracles of Jesus from feeding the 5000 to raising Lazarus from the dead, (there may be a toilet paper mummy wrapping game with that one). Worship, stories, games, crafts and small groups will all be part of the line up. We’re gonna have an inconceivable good time!
Mystery, intrigue, and the beauty of discovering truth – over the next 2 months City Kids will embark on an exciting adventure through, “Mystery Manor.” Mystery Manor is an 8-week series where kids will become like detectives and explore some of the foundational questions about life as a believer. Some examples are, “Is God real?” “Are God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit the same?” “What’s the big deal about the Bible?” “Is God really in control when bad things happen?” Each lesson is firmly rooted in showing the truth of God’s word as the critical source for what we know, understand, and believe. Gather your best sleuth tools and join us. If you have an interest in doing skits, set design, or teaching small groups contact the City Kids Team email@example.com
Synopsis: When you were a kid, what did you look forward to most? Was it taking off the training wheels? Being tall enough to ride whatever you wanted at the fair? Getting to wear makeup? Or driving a car? It seems there’s something in every little kid that loves the idea of growing up. Middle school makes us wish for high school. High school makes us wish for college. And most of the time, we know what it takes to get from one level to the next, but what about spiritually? How do we know we’re moving forward in our faith? The good news is that, like any good Father, God wants us to grow. So, He doesn’t make it complicated. In fact, as we look at four things God uses to propel our faith, we may find that growing up spiritually can be simpler than we ever imagined.
